Gareth Lodge is a senior analyst in Celent’s Banking group and is based in the London office. His research has a focus on payments, where he is an acknowledged expert, particularly SEPA and Payment Hubs. Gareth Lodge joined Celent with strong experience in the payments business. Most recently he has worked at Secura Monde International, the market leading advisory firm to the cash world. Prior to that Mr Lodge was Regional Research Director for the research and advisory firm TowerGroup, where he led their Payments and Retail Banking Practices outside of North America. He has also worked for VocaLink, the innovative payments processor proving ACH processing services for the UK. Mr Lodge is well known and respected speaker, having spoken at numerous events including Sibos, EBADay, Nacha Payments, and the Unisys Global Payments Conference. He is regularly asked for his opinion in the media, including television (BBC. Sky, Bloomberg, CNBC), radio (BBC) and the press (Financial Times, Daily Telegraph, The Banker, etc).
